These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase made from Crown & Coast Watches ("we", "us"). By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms.

About us

Crown & Coast Watches is an independent dealer in pre-owned luxury watches, based in Plymouth, Devon, and operating across the UK. You can contact us at info@crownandcoast.co.uk.

Independence and authenticity

We are not an authorised dealer of, and are not affiliated with, any of the watch brands we sell. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Every watch we offer is carefully inspected and verified as authentic before sale. Where a watch is supplied with its original box and papers, this is stated on the listing.

Descriptions and condition

All watches are pre-owned unless stated otherwise. We describe each watch honestly, including its condition, service history where known, and any notable marks. Photographs show the actual watch for sale. Reasonable wear consistent with age should be expected on any pre-owned item.

Prices and availability

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Watches are offered subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. A watch is reserved for a buyer only once we have confirmed this in writing. We may correct pricing errors and are not obliged to honour an obvious mistake.

Orders and payment

An order is accepted, and a contract formed, when we confirm acceptance and receive cleared payment in full. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full. Payment methods are agreed at the point of sale.

Delivery and returns

Delivery, returns and warranty are covered by our Delivery, Returns and Warranty pages, which form part of these terms. Your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are not affected.

Selling or part-exchanging your watch

Valuations we provide are offers to purchase and may be revised or withdrawn following physical inspection of the watch. Watches sent to us for valuation must be your own property, free of any finance or third-party claim. We reserve the right to decline any watch without giving a reason.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the price paid for the watch.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
