Warranty
This page is a placeholder. Final wording must be reviewed and approved before launch.
Every watch sold by Crown & Coast Watches is supplied with a 12-month mechanical warranty from the date of purchase, unless a different period is stated on the individual listing.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers defects in the mechanical movement of the watch that arise through normal use, including faults with timekeeping, the winding mechanism and the calendar functions where fitted. If a covered fault develops during the warranty period, we will repair the watch, or where a repair is not reasonably possible, offer a replacement or refund.
What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or wear and tear to external parts such as the case, crystal, crown, bezel, strap or bracelet. It does not cover water damage unless the watch was described as water-resistant and has been used in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines, nor any work carried out by a third party. Water resistance of any pre-owned watch should be checked before exposure to water, as seals age over time.
Manufacturer's warranty
Some watches are supplied with the remainder of the original manufacturer's international warranty. Where this applies it will be stated on the listing, and the manufacturer's terms apply in addition to our own warranty.
Making a claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@crownandcoast.co.uk with your proof of purchase and a description of the fault. We will arrange for the watch to be returned to us for assessment. Please do not attempt to open or repair the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
